# Build a backlink campaign with your agent

> Research publishers, inspect public contact routes, prepare evidence-backed briefs and follow the links you earn with AgentLinkOps and your existing agent.

AgentLinkOps gives your agent evidence for a backlink campaign: where a link might fit, how to reach a publisher, what supports the pitch, and what happened after a placement.

Your agent brings search, browser work, judgment and authorized communication. AgentLinkOps supplies link evidence, imports, reports and a local campaign toolkit. Your records stay in your repository.

## Connect your agent

Copy this into your agent:

```text theme={null}
Set up AgentLinkOps using https://agentlinkops.com/SKILL.md.
Ask me to approve the connection, then list my projects.
```

Hosted access is invitation-only. The [quickstart](/quickstart) covers browser approval and a first task. The [capability status](/capability-status) separates hosted tools, local workflows and features still in validation.

## Start with the job

```text theme={null}
Help me plan a resource-page campaign for this guide: [URL].
Use my exports and your search tools to find relevant publisher pages.
For each candidate, show the audience fit, a useful reason to cite my guide,
a public contact route if available, and what still needs review.
Keep the shortlist locally. Ask me before sending anything.
```

The local toolkit covers guest contributions, resource additions, replacement citations, competitor sources, reclamation and custom campaigns. [Campaign workflows](/campaign-workflows) explains how these jobs use cloud evidence and your agent's own tools.

## Find the tool behind the task

The [MCP tool reference](/mcp-tools/generated/overview) covers registered cloud tools for imports, candidate checks, competitor inventories, contacts, monitoring, reports and workspace controls. A registered tool can still depend on a data provider or hosted configuration. Check availability before planning a task around it.
