# Read an internal-link scan report

> Read the saved report of a finished website scan against an earlier one: findings by kind, unknown pages, and the outcome of planned changes.

`get_internal_link_report`

Read the saved report of a finished website scan against an earlier one: findings by kind, unknown pages, and the outcome of planned changes. Truncated scans are not compared. Never starts a scan.

## Input fields

Omit optional fields when you do not want to supply them. Null is accepted only where listed. Unknown input properties are rejected.

### Validation and omitted values

A report is saved when a website scan finishes. Reports are available for 90 days, with at most 60 saved per website.

The baseline defaults to the report before the selected one. When either scan stopped at its page limit, comparable is false and no differences are claimed. Unknown pages are reported on their own.

Change outcomes count changes last updated after the baseline and up to the report. Reading never starts or schedules a scan.

## Output fields

Fields inside optional or nullable parents apply only when that parent exists. [Common schema conventions](/reference/schemas.md) explain evidence states, empty lists and extensions.

## Errors and retries

Follow the error recovery before retrying this read. Preserve the selected workspace, project, filters and feed. Recovering a read does not require an idempotency key or another verification job. Operation-specific errors include `INTERNAL_LINK_CHANGES_UNAVAILABLE`, `INTERNAL_LINK_REPORT_NOT_FOUND`.
