Read a monitored placement’s retained chronology. This makes an authenticated read of retained history, not a new check. If using --out, choose a new file; an existing output is refused.

Example

Reads one page of retained chronology for the connected watch. It performs no new check and preserves denied streams and retention gaps.

Options

  • --watch-id ID required
  • --limit 1..100 defaults to 50
  • --cursor TOKEN
  • --all
  • --out FILE.

Exit status

0 on success; 2 on usage, configuration, identity, file or request failure.

What happens

Requires a connected cloud workspace and project. Calls the hosted read for one watch; performs no new checks. Validates returned workspace, project and watch identity. Without --all returns one page; --all follows at most 100 pages and freezes the qualified loaded dataset. Denied streams, retention gaps, observation time, recording time and raw evidence availability remain explicit. --out creates private JSON at a new path; an existing file is refused.
Read configuration and file ownership for environment variables, compatibility aliases and writer locks. Read local file contracts for artifact fields. Browse the CLI index for related commands.
Check the selected environment and workspace access before calling hosted operations. See capability status.
