Set link type

set_link_type Set or clear the one person-chosen type of a monitored link. A person’s type is never replaced by a model suggestion.

One type per link. A person’s type is never replaced by a model suggestion; null clears it. Guest post is a person-set type only; the model never suggests it.

Errors and retries

This write is annotated idempotent without a caller-supplied idempotency key. Reconcile saved state after an uncertain response, then use the same inputs for the same intended operation.
