Start with a Google mailbox you already use and a small shortlist of relevant publishers. Your agent prepares the pitches; you review them before sending. You do not need a sequencer to run this first campaign.

1. Choose the mailbox

Connect AgentLinkOps and its campaign skills, then connect Gmail separately in your agent’s own integrations settings. Select the address you intend to send from and inspect the permissions requested. Google Workspace administrators may need to allow the connection. In Claude web or Desktop, use the Google Workspace connector instructions. Claude documents Gmail reading, drafting and sending, with approval by default. That does not establish the same capabilities in Claude Code, Codex or another client: ask your agent to inspect its available Gmail tools. If your client cannot create or send a Gmail draft, have it prepare the text and send it yourself in Gmail. AgentLinkOps supplies campaign records and link checks; it does not supply a Gmail connector or mailbox.

2. Prepare two pitches

Choose publishers using the outreach playbook. Give your agent this task:
Before sending, use an appropriate publisher contact route and confirm the outreach fits your mailbox provider’s policies and applicable recipient rules. A published address alone is not permission to send. Review the reason for contacting each publisher, factual claims and destination page. Remove invented familiarity, generic praise and requests for a particular ranking benefit. Check From and To yourself, especially when you have multiple accounts or aliases.

3. Send and confirm one message

If your agent cannot read Gmail, check previous conversations and stop requests yourself before approving any publisher pitch. Supply the relevant evidence without sharing unrelated mail. For a new connection, first use a clearly labeled test to a mailbox you control. Review the saved draft and explicitly approve that test. Confirm the message in Sent and its arrival in the recipient mailbox; reply there and check that your agent can find the reply if reading is supported. Otherwise record your manual observation; it does not prove native reply access. This proves that controlled path, not general inbox placement. Then approve the exact publisher drafts you want sent, or send them in Gmail yourself. Ask your agent to retain the actual message reference, recipient and send time with the prospect. A saved draft, queue entry or timeout is not proof of sending. If the result is uncertain, check Sent and the original operation before attempting another send.

4. Review replies and placements

When you return, ask your agent to read the relevant threads. If it cannot read Gmail, review replies yourself and share only the relevant outcome or excerpt. Keep the message reference and observation date with that report. Closing the agent does not start background reply handling or follow-ups. A bounce needs attention on that contact method. A stop request ends further outreach to that recipient. A promise to add your link remains an open conversation. Follow the campaign workflow to verify the published page, review check costs and choose ongoing monitoring. Already using Zoho or another mailbox? Keep it. Use its supported connection, or the same draft-and-send workflow in its webmail. When timed follow-ups become useful, see advanced outbound operations.
