Configure index observations

configure_index_observations Set website index-inspection opt-in, daily quota and cadence. Requires an owner or admin session; scheduled execution also requires operator activation.

Validation and omitted values

Requires operator activation and the caller’s current project grant. Source URL indexing remains independent from backlink presence. Only an owner or admin browser session can change opt-in. Defaults are 100 inspections/day, 30 raw-retention days and 86400-second cadence; scheduled execution has a separate operator flag.

Errors and retries

This write is annotated idempotent without a caller-supplied idempotency key. Reconcile saved state after an uncertain response, then use the same inputs for the same intended operation.
